Hygiene
All the materials used during the procedure are completely disposable and individually sealed for your assurance of our hygiene procedures. We will happily open each individual component under your supervision for your peace of mind.
We are licensed with Torbay County Council to undertake such procedures and are fully insured to perform all of our clinical treatments.
Once your procedure is over, we will apply an appropriate anti-septic foundation to the area with the use of a cotton bud to minimize the possibility of post treatment infection. We also request that all patients refrain from touching the treated area, again this is to minimize the risk of infection post treatment.
A light crusting to the surface of the treated area is perfectly natural and will heal itself within a few days. Full details of the aftercare procedures are provided at the end of your treatment along with an opportunity to ask any further questions you may wish to have answered.
Method
After a full consultation, hypoallergenic pigments are skillfully blended by the technician to a slightly darker shade than that which is required as the end result. This is to allow for pigment displacement and a loss of pigment of between 30% and 40% post procedure. The therapist will perform a variety of techniques, applied with accuracy, to provide you with a naturally beautiful look. The method we undertake uses vibration with the use of a probe to place the pigments into the upper epidermal layer and all patients will be provided with a numbing cream prior to treatment.
After 3 to 4 weeks, the remaining pigments retained within the skin will give you the finished look of beautifully groomed brows. If a top up is required, then a booster dose is available but only after one month has elapsed to allow for the correct placement of the epidermal pigments.
