- Can I stop the treatments if I can no longer afford them?
Yes you may, and you are free to do so at any time.
Please bear in mind that the visible effects of the treatment will diminish with time. Unless you have completed the initial course of treatment and maintain it’s effectiveness with the use of top-up treatments either every 4, 8 or 12 weeks as discussed during your consultation, the lifting and toning effects of the treatment will cease to have an effect and your facial muscles will return to their pre-treatment state.
If you intend to cease treatment after the initial course of treatment has been completed (i.e. from a follow-up status) then the effects will also wear off with time but you may notice the effect as a gradual process of deterioration. If you are stopping treatment because of financial reasons, please discuss this issue with the therapist as we occasionally offer discounts from time to time in the form of special offers/advertising campaigns.

Will the procedure hurt?
The procedure should not hurt, but some individuals may experience a heightened degree of sensitivity to the current. If you experience this, just inform the technician and the treatment will be amended to suit your comfort level. Please bear in mind that the levels do need to be increased over time to provide you with the optimal results.
How long will the procedure last?
The total time you should allow for the whole procedure, including your consultation would be estimated at 60 minutes. Patients must also be aware that occasionally, treatments can sometimes over run and we advise patients to allow for this in their travel arrangements.
What is the average amount of treatments required as an initial course of treatment?
The average quantity of treatments that most patients require is a total of 8 weeks (2 treatments per week) and one follow-up treatment every 8 – 10 weeks. The amount of treatments including the frequency required for follow-up treatments will be discussed during your initial consultation.
Instead of paying one lump sum for the whole Initial Treatment Package, can I pay for individual treatments each time I visit the practice?
Yes, of course you can. If you feel happier paying for your facial upon each visit, you are more than welcome to do so. The option of paying in full for your initial treatment package is merely offered out of convenience to the patient.
