Do I need to make any preparations for my appointment?

It is advisable for you to refrain from washing your hair for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
This allows the Trichologist to view your condition/symptoms in their natural state which will aid the diagnostic process.
It is also advisable for you to refrain from using styling products such as gels or hairspray on the day of your appointment.
Do I need to bring anything with me?

You will need the following information on the day:

• Name and contact details of your GP
• Name and contact details of any Specialist you are currently seeing
• Details of all your current prescription only medication and any over the counter supplements you may be taking
• If you have access to the results of any recent blood tests, then please bring them with you

Hair Restoration / Surgery
Referrals are recommended only to members listed with “The British Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons” to ensure the highest standards of ethics and patient care. Please contact the practice for more information.

Cancellations & Late Arrivals
To ensure the smooth running of the practice, it is imperative that patients arrive on the allotted time of their appointment. If you think you are going to be delayed any longer than 15 minutes, then contact the Trichologist to inform them. Any longer than 20 minutes will result in the loss of your allotted time and a new appointment will need to be arranged for you.
Due to the cost and inconvenience that are caused through missed appointments a cancellation fee of £15 is in place to discourage last minute cancellations.

A 24 hour notice period is requested to allow the possibility of short notice appointments to those who wish immediate assistance.
